Race the entire 25 event NHRA circuit in Pro Stock Cars & Pro Stock Trucks. Race NHRA circuit from Pomona to Gainesville. Compete against world champions iin novice, intermediate and expert modes. Blow the doors off the competition as you jet past them at 200 mph Experience sensory overload with physics so real you'll swear you're behind the wheel. Tune your own car or choose a crew chief to tweak it for you. Tune your vehicle against changing track and weather conditions. Lock horns with 30 of the world's bet NHRA teams. Graphics Quality: In this section of the options menu you can choose what type of textures you want to use for your game. There are 4 settings for the texture quality in "NHRA ProStock". Ultra resolution should only be used on machines running faster processors and graphics cards. Medium resolution is for most machines running 4MB to 8MB graphic cards. Low-resolution textures should be used on machines that meet minimum configuration. Audio Quality:

NHRA ProStock uses the SoundMAX sound engine. This is the State of the Art sound technology that makes NHRA ProStock roar through your PC speakers. The higher setting will greatly improve the quality of the sound effects in the game. However, this may cause sluggish game performance on slower machines.

Activities Include

Testing

Testing allows you to practice driving and tuning skills on the track of your choice. This is a great place to train to go from "Novice" to "Full Pass" racing. You will be able to race by yourself at the track of your choice. You can tune here as well as practice driving these high horsepower cars.

Match

This mode lets you choose any of the professional opponents included in NHRA Main Event for a one-on-one match race.

Single Event

This mode gives you a chance to race any of the 24 NHRA events. You may choose to make up to 4 qualifying runs to achieve a higher seeding in the final elimination field of 16. Race to Win!

Season

This is where the "hardcore" player sets out to capture the NHRA point Championship. The quest begins in Pomona and travels the entire NHRA circuit. A racing budget is awarded and tracked per event. Prize money and damage costs are added and subtracted from the budget accordingly. CAUTION: Consistently posting poor results can lead to loss of sponsorship and an early end to your race season.
