"This is a charming old ring. Every time I wear it, I get so many compliments and it makes me laugh because this ring is an Avon ring from the early 1970s, that just happens to look like a antique ring ! It is just a costume ring, but it was very well made and has exquisite Art Nouveau character. The central stone is an oval faceted Amethyst adorned with small faux pearls top and bottom. The side bands are beaded gold in an antique finish. The ring is a size 7. I used to wear the ring often, so it does have moderate to heavy wear on the ring band. The rest of the ring is perfect with no scratches on the stone, and no wear on the face. Most people will think this is an antique ring ! * Note : The gold metal curls around the glass cab look worn in the photo but they are not : it is just light reflection."
