Antique 12kt Gold Locket Big Engraved Oval Pendant w Chain 1920s Edwardian Era

"I admire this precious antique gold locket for several reasons. The engraving is gorgeous, the locket is large, and the locket is in excellent condition! This oval locket dates from the Edwardian period, somewhere around 1920. It is a very large locket at 1 1/2"" long without the bail ( or 1 7/8"" long with the bail) and it is 1 1/8"" wide. The locket is signed on the back with a designer signature (see my close up shot). Im not certain who the designer is: it looks like MB, MH, or MA. The locket is also signed 1/20 12K GF. The face has beveled engravings of scrolling leaves and one flower on a satin gold background. The hinge is in excellent working order and the large bail is original to the locket. The gold filled chain is a longer style, and is probably not original to the locket but the has a nice delicate look. The chain is not signed and it is 30"" long. It can easily be shortened if you desire. The locket is in fabulous condition for age with no signs of wear or damage.The face has a satin finish and there are no scratches. The interior is perfectly clean and the back only has some light and very minor fine scratches from handling. "
