Antique Sterling Chalcedony Ring Slender Design w Filigree

"This unusual antique Edwardian sterling ring is a long slender design with a slender oval Chalcedony. The Chalcedony is nice old world quality from the 1890-1920 period and when you hold it up to the light, it appears to glow like an emerald. The Chalcedony is set in a custom made sterling bezel and the fancy frame around the stone is sterling filigree scrolls. The ring band is sterling as well, and is adjustable to fit a size 4 1/2 to a size 6 1/2. The face of the ring measures about 1 1/4"" long x 1/2"" wide. The Chalcedony is 5/8"" long x 1/4"" wide. The ring is signed Sterling and has a designer signature that is too small for me to read. The ring is in very fine condition for the age. The sterling surfaces are clean and blemish free and the ring still retains the old silver patina. The Chalcedony is perfect to the naked eye but under extreme magnification, you can see some very tiny light surface scratches that are really, hardly worth noting. If you like very unique antique rings, this custom made design is a great heirloom."
