"These antique hoop earrings for pierced ears are signed Sterling. The earrings are machine cut filigree, and this old style dates from the 1930s or early 1940s. Sterling filigree work was made in many countries including Russia, Italy, Germany and Spain, but this particular design and technique I would attribute to Portugal. The earrings are in perfect condition with only al light patina from age and they are 1 7/8"" long x 1 1/8"" wide. Both are signed Sterling. Old sterling filigree earrings of this kind are rather hard to acquire"
