Antique Sterling Silver Bracelet Etched Bangle

"This antique sterling silver cuff bangle was made for petite ladies. The interior width is 2 3/8"". It is hard to put an exact date on when this sterling bangle was made, but it was made sometime after the turn of the century and before 1935. The bangle is a lovely slim design at 3/8"" wide. The exterior is convex with etched scrolls and leaves and the edges are etched in saw tooth patterns. The bracelet is signed 925 on the interior. The original safety chain was missing, but I have restored the chain with a new section of solid sterling silver chain (not sterling plated). This bracelet is in very fine condition with very scant, light and minor scratches on the interior. There are no scratches or dings on the exterior. Near one of the safety chain rings, on the exterior of the bangle, there is a small spot if worn silver from rubbing. This spot is about 1/8"" x 1/8"". Personally, what I admire most about this piece is the graceful and elegant style in which it was made, typical of designs during the Edwardian period. The bracelet has been cleaned with a silver polishing cloth only."
