Art Deco Italian Earrings Modernist Wild Citrine and Topaz Rhinestones Vintage 1940s

"These very unusual earrings date from 1935-1945 Retro Modern period. Their age is evident by the brass pot metal pyramid sets on the back, which is extremely unusual. The fronts are painted in a textured gold gilt and Citrine and Topaz large rhinestone chatons were set in the recessed pyramid settings. The unusual pointed clips on the backs are Italian which undoubtedly indicates these earrings were made in Italy about 60-70 years ago. They do have some tiny spots light gold paint wear if you look hard around the stones. The rhinestones have excellent sparkle and are the original stones. They are in excellent vintage condition and the clips are strong with tight snap. They are 1 1/4"" long x 1 1/8"" wide and are not signed. "
