Art Nouveau Sterling Heart Pendant Necklace w Marcasites

"Do you love antique heart necklaces like I do ? This Art Nouveau the turn of the century necklace has a very delicate look. It is an old world design full of romance and memories. It is the kind of necklace that does not need any other jewelry or accessories as its small presence dominates a graceful neckline. This sterling silver heart is paved with small marcasites all the way around the frame. It is signed Sterling and designer signed KD and has the original antique sterling bail which has marcasites as well. The original sterling chain is a very delicate twisted chain that was machine etched. The heart with the bail is 1 1/4"" long and the chain is 18"" long. The old spring clasp on this necklace was broken, and I have replaced it with a new one. I do not know who the designer KD is, but Im rather certain this necklace was made in Germany. Both necklace and chain are in excellent condition and have only been lightly cleaned with a jewelers polishing cloth. All of the marcasites are original and present. The sterling retains the original old patina."
