"This style of flower earring was only made for a brief time in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The look is very Pop Art and the colors of black and bright lime green are back in style! The earrings are domed buttons made of clear Lucite with black backs. The buttons are about the size of a dime, or almost 3/4"" wide. The flowers inside are real flowers called Straw Flowers. They are very pretty and petite ! These earrings had very old clips on the backs that I wouldn't wear myself. I have converted the earrings for you to pierced studs that are new and perfectly clean. There is some residual glue on the back that has been filed down and cannot be removed, but this is hardly worth noting ! The Lucite is in great shape with no scuffs or scratches. "
