"These elegant blue ribbon glass West German earrings date from the early 1950s. The Bohemian blue ribbon glass is rare to find. The domed round glass cabs are deep cobalt with steel blue stripes. This hand blown glass is exceptional old world quality with deep color penetration and very glassy shine from a high lead content, like crystal. The earrings have a distinct antique flair of royalty, framed with brass circles, inset with bright blue rhinestones and small faux pearls. If you look at my close up pics, you'll notice that each glass cab has hand cut beveled edges around the perimeter at the base. This elegant design is ultra feminine ! Both earrings are in pristine condition with no missing stones or pearls and no damage and no signs of wear. The clips look like new and they are strong with tight snap. Each earring measures 1 1/8"" tall x 7/8"" wide and they both have a high dome presentation."
