"Christmas tree ornament pins are one of my favorite types of vintage Christmas pins to collect, whenever I can find them! I think they are neat because they remind me of old fashioned Christmas tree ornaments; a style that is no longer made today. Do you remember the big odd shaped glass balls that had to be packed ever so gently and if you even looked at them wrong, they would break ? This pin dates from the 1960s and is signed Gerry's. The rich satin gold is textured with gold beaded braids on the ball. The holly is green satin enamel with a red berry and a gold bow. The round ornament is decorated with red and green satin enamel bead balls. This pin is in mint, like new condition with no signs of wear. It has the original fine working safety clasp and is a nice medium size that measures 1 5/8"" tall x 1 1/8"" wide. "
