"Yes, this 1940s necklace is stunning and it will take you breath away ! I admire this gorgeous necklace for several reasons ! The necklace is outstanding quality and is in exceptional like new condition. From the 1940s, this princess or wedding necklace was certainly designer made by either Weiss, Sherman or Dewees, but it is not signed. The unique pendulum or chandelier design is made of very heavy rhodium metal, set with brilliant Aquamarine crystals and clear rhinestone chatons. The 8 Aquamarine crystals are rather large at about 8 mm wide and all are prong set. All of the crystals and rhinestones are original, present, and sparkling. The silver metal chain is a domed box link of excellent quality and the necklace has the original fine working fold over box clasp. The decorative portion of the necklace is 3 1/2"" long x 1 1/2"" wide at the center. The necklace is 15 3/4"" long but I have added a silver extension chain so that the necklace can be as long as 17 3/4"". This elegant and very unique necklace shows no signs of wear and looks new like the day it was made in the 1940s !
