"This mint condition vintage copper bracelet is a fabulous ribbon swirl design that was made in the early 1960s. The high grade heavy copper and wide ribbons in swirl designs with a heat burnished black background. The bracelet has 7 sections, each 1 1/8"" tall and 7/8"" wide. The overall length is 7 1/4"" long. The two sections on the ends have a smaller ribbon design then the rest. The bracelet has the original silver foil label that reads Genuine Copper. There are many vintage jewelry sellers who think this is any early Renoir Matisse design, but it is not. It was made by a rather famous company called Copper Craft Guild that was in business only fro a few short years. Most of their jewelry was sold at home parties and as copper went up sharply in price in the mid 1960s, it drove this small company out of business. All of their designs were very unique and their craftsmanship was excellent.This bracelet has no wear, scratches, dings or other imperfections. The copper is bright and shiny like new. The back of the bracelet is very clean as well. * The necklaces of this design are not hard to find but the earrings and the bracelets are very hard to locate."
