"These vintage 1950s Damascene clip earrings are a rather unusual pair. The design is borrowed from the Art Deco era and the earrings are rectangular domes. The design is made in two haves, each an isosceles triangle. One half is a domed and frosted Lucite cab that looks like mother of pearl. The other half is 24kt gold plated metal with Damascene leaves and scrolls, highlighted with silver embossing and black enamel. A Damascene ribbon also wraps around the Lucite cab. These earrings are rather petite and measure just shy of 1/2"" long and are 1/4"" wide. Both earrings are signed Spain and the clips are like new and are strong with tight snap. The earrings are in fabulous condition with no signs of age, wear, or dirt. "
