"This is a very unique vintage 1940s Spanish Damascene necklace. This big butterfly motif is a design that is hard to find, especially in such excellent condition such as this. The 8 butterflies are 24kt gold plated metal with silver embossing and black enamel inlay. The butterflies are perfect with no loss of gold, silver, or black. The butterflies are connected with domed rectangular links that have cross hatch patterns. The butterflies are about 1"" wide and the necklace is 16"" long. The back of the necklace has some very light signs of handling, but no loss of gold. The entire piece is exceptionally clean and pristine.
