"These dainty hoop dangle earrings are a very old style of Japanese Damascene. The earrings are 24kt gold plate with etched Rococo designs, silver beading and black enamel inlay. The hoop is an elliptical round with an independent round dangling center. The round button cab on the ear post is prong set. The earrings were made for ladies with a small frame as they are petite at 1 1/2"" long x 3/4"" wide. The gold plated clips are a style that hails from the 1930s and 40s. The earrings are not signed but they are undoubtedly Japanese. They are in excellent condition with no wear or dirt and only have a light patina from age"
