"You will find a lot of Damascene flower pins, but it is very rare to find a maple leaf pin in Damascene. This is a big modern design that was only made for a short time in the 1960s. The leaf is 24kt gold plated with silver embossing and black enamel. This unique leaf design is also stamped metal, and you can see the intricate stamp design on the back. The pin is rather large and measures 2 1/2"" long x 2"" wide. It is in excellent condition with no signs of wear. It is has the original fine working safety clasp and although it is not signed, it was certainly made in Spain."
