"Im thrilled when I am able to offer eccentric deep purple pearls from the 1950s! Deep grape purple pearl necklaces are very hard to find in great condition and the color is sensational with a lavender or bright green shirt ! This three strand necklace is not big and bulky and the pearls are petite and medium in size. There are three types of pearls and real hand cut Austrian faceted crystals. There are also two different shades of deep purple. The darkest pearls have a satin finish and pearls that are a shade lighter have a high luster finish. Some of the smaller pearls are flashed with metallic silver stripes in the center. All of the pearls are glass pearls and are all are spaced with citrine glass heishi beads. The necklace is 15"" long and with the original beaded extension chain, it can be hooked anywhere between 16 "" and 18 1/2"". The strands are finished with silver metal leaves and the hook is signed Japan. The necklace is perfectly clean and has most likely never been worn. The only slight imperfection to this piece is some loss of purple finish to a few beads on the extension chain, and one worn bead at the top of one strand next to the end piece. This necklace is not heavy to wear. The largest beads are about 1/2"" wide and the smallest are about 1/4"" wide. "
