Delizza and Ester Jelly Glass Earrings Caribbean Jewel Tones

"These very old Delizza and Ester earrings are a pair my mother has owned since the 1940s. These earrings are a much older style and not as flamboyant as the earrings they made in later years. I strongly admire these earrings for their unique Caribbean jewel tone colors. The large domed glass jelly belly like cabs are bright ocean blue. The large faceted marquise crystals are bright Peridot green. The flower designs are composed of light blue and ocean blue rhinestones and there is one accent rhinestone that is pale yellow. All of the stones, even the smallest, are all prong set. The settings are black japanned metal and the earrings are clips. The earrings show no signs of wear, not even on the black metal, and the clips are unworn and are strong with tight snap. The large blue oval glass cabs are open backs and there is some old glue in a small area on the back of one of the blue glass cabs. It gives the glass a little bit of a crackle aged look. The earrings are a very petite design and measure just 7/8"" long and are not signed."
