"This 1950s vintage custom made elegant turquoise brooch features a large natural Turquoise oval cab with rich veining. The bezel and gold branches are 24 kt gold plated and accented with a nice cultured pearl. The back has a common and simple style safety clasp that is glued on. The back of the bezel is a brushed metal finish with some light wear to the gold, revealing the silver pot metal in a couple of spots. The brooch is in excellent condition with no loss of gold to the front design, and no damage to the Turquoise cab that has a fine glossy finish. The brooch is 1 3/4"" long x 1 1/4"" wide and has very nice weight. This is a very lovely, uncomplicated brooch that can be worn any time of the year."
