"Vintage Rose Glass and Rhinestone Necklace w Earrings ~ The small round marbled rose glass beads along the upper strands of this necklace and on the earrings are old Bohemian hand made glass beads. This retro modern designer necklace and earring parure is from the Retro Modern Era 1935-1945. The rose glass beads are spaced with sparkling clear Austrian rhinestone chatons and all beads are prong set in a bright yellow 44 kt gold plate settings. The matching earrings are screw backs. All pieces are in excellent condition with no missing stones, no scratches or loss of 24kt gold plated brilliant shine. They appear to have never been worn. This set is not signed. In my research I cannot find any maker who made high quality pieces like this, that used Bohemian rose glass of any kind. Is possible is was made by Trifari, Coro, Mazer, or others. It was certainly made to be sold at high end department stores. The necklace is 14"" long and the pendant area hangs down an additional 1 1/2"". The earrings are 1 1/2"" long x 1/4"" wide.
