"This eccentric lattice work rose pin is an exceptional uncommon design form the 1940s. The pin is all metal with glossy enamels and is rather weighty. The brooch has a high presence and 3D character as it is 1 1/8"" deep from back to front. The leaves around the rose and the tips of the white lattice petals are sage green while the leaves are pale leaf green. It is a large piece at 3 1/2"" tall x 2 1/4"" wide. The brooch is in exceptional condition for age with no dings or repairs and the enamels have a high gloss shine. The brooch has the original fine working safety clasp and is not signed. There is some light enamel were on the white lattice on the back only, and some very light tip wear to the red enamel rose."
