"This exquisite Art Deco dress clip is a fabulous old beauty in pristine condition from the 1920-1930 era. It can be worn as a clip on the top of a shirt, on a jacket breast pocket, or strung on a chain and worn as a pendant. It is a large Art Deco design of ribbons or scrolls and features large crystals in many places. The large crystal at the top is a prong set emerald cut that is 1/2"" long. It is flanked by nine large chatons and two marquise crystals at the top. The clip is domed into the center and a there are two pear cut stones, and three more large chatons around the bottom. This piece is in striking condition for age. Most dress clips this old are not as ornate as this one, and in most cases the condition is only fair. This piece is a rare exception. All of the rhinestones are original, present and have brilliant clarity. There is not even any wear to the silver pot metal on the framing, the edges or the back. The clip on the back is like new as well. This piece is not too large or ostentatious, but it is a medium to large piece. It measures 1 3/4"" wide x 1 1/2"" tall.
