"These earrings are familiar bulbous heart shapes as they were made to look like real sea beans. Sea beans are very hard to find, and until I found these earrings I had no idea that they were being reproduced in hard thermoset plastic. They look just like real sea beans, but they are light weight to wear. The earrings are for pierced ears and the imitation beans are glossy sage green with coco brown and light blue hand painted accents. The white swirls are painted on both the front and backs. The earrings have plastic accent beads and silver metal ear wires. The sea beans are 1"" wide and the earrings hang down about 2 1/2"" long. The earrings have a very natural look and go well with wood jewelry. "
