"Tiger Eye Jewelry from long ago incorporated the most astonishing gemstone specimens. Newer jewelry, even from the 1960s, cant hold a candle to older top grade specimens of Tiger Eye. These fabulous earrings date from the late 1940s or early 1950s and the settings are solid sterling silver. Each earrings is signed Sterling twice. The large oval cabs have high domes and each cab has a sensational 3D effect and perfect color stratification. The light, medium and darker shades of the gemstones are all represented in the zig zag stripes. The cabs are set in sterling prongs and each cab is about 7/8"" long x 3/4"" wide. The earrings have sterling lever style clips that are strong with tight snap. The Tiger Eye cabs are very perfect, with no dullness, scratches or chips.
