"This very well crafted glistening gold smiley face necklace is authentic 1970s hippie jewelry. I doubt you will see another necklace like this because Im sure very few were ever produced like this. This large medallion, in brushed bright yellow gold can also be worn as a brooch. The smiley face has dangling clear Austrian crystal eyes and the pendant is very heavy, thick, and well made. The medallion is 2"" wide and 3/16"" thick. The excellent ball bead chain is brightly polished yellow gold metal with the original extension chain and hook. The beads are strung on heavy gauge wire and the beads are each 10mm. The chain is 26"" long with the extension. The medallion can be easily removed and worn as a brooch if desired. The pendant, crystals, and the chain are in pristine like new condition with no wear or imperfections. A necklace I have kept safely tucked away for about 30 years now ! "
