"All of the copper enamel jewelry by Hogan and Bolas was made in certain color schemes. While the colors were rather limited, it is very hard to choose a favorite because they are fabulous ! These vintage 1950s copper enamel earrings is what I have coined as ""Strawberries and Cream"". The concave rounds are metallic light pink and deep berry colors on a white background. The earrings are screw backs and both earrings are signed Hogan Bolas. This style of short dangle earring can easily be converted to pierced. This design is rather petite as each earring is about the size of a US nickel, or 7/8"" wide. The enamels are perfect with no chips, scratches, cracks or crazing. The backs of the earrings are pristine and clean. These metallic colors really light up when light hits them ! * Hogan and Bolas copper enamel jewelry is a great investment as prices are rising fast.
