Horse Pin Gold w Pink Crystal Belly and Rhinestones Vintage 1940s

"This illusive old horse pin is a 1940s designer piece. Although it is not signed, the quality is superb and it was most likely made by a high end designer like Trifari, Coro, Boucher or Reinad. This unique little horse was obviously NOT mass produced because I cannot locate it in any of the 50 or some jewelry books I have. The galloping horse had a large bright pink crystal belly that is prong set and down the nose is a long clear crystal baguette. The body is paved with clear rhinestone chatons and the base metal is heavy 18kt gold plating. In my photos, some of the rhinestones look grey, but they are not. It is simply the flash reflecting the gold metal that makes a few of the rhinestones look grey. All of the rhinestones and crystals are original, present and sparkling. The pink crystal and the baguette are perfect with no scratches and have sharp facets. The polished gold finish is in excellent condition and I only see one minor imperfection. On the inside of the hind leg, furthest to the right, there is one tiny flea bite in the gold. It cant be noticed unless you look at the piece under magnification. The pin has the original fine working safety clasp. This horse is rather petite, but not too small. It measures 1 1/2"" long x 1"" tall. The unique stone settings on this piece creates a sensational presentation. Undoubtedly, a very unique 1940s horse pin that is a rare find ! "
