"Vintage Bone Earrings ~ Very exceptional in the quality of craftsmanship and materials, these vintage East Indian clip earrings feature large carved bone oval cabs. The bone is hard and glossy and heavy like glass. The bone is polished, and so it they look something like polished agates. The cabs are thick and deeply set in hand made silver bezels with three frames of different designs : rope, coil and small silver beads. The silver is not pure silver, but is Indian silver of a lower silver content. The earrings are rather large at1 1/2"" long x 1 1/4"" wide. This pair would go very well with Oriental jewelry or other silver jewelry and go nicely with every day attire. They are in excellent unworn condition and are nice and clean. Some very minor wear on the backs just from handling over the years as this pair dates from the 1970's. "
