"From the 1950's, these Japanese cultured pearl earrings are excellent quality and design. This style of earrings was popular in the Victorian era and these earrings are antique reproductions. The filigree pendants are machine stamped beaded metal in 14kt gold plating. Each earring has four graduated sizes of cultured pearls with fine luster and relatively thick nacres. The pearls are virtually blemish free. The ear posts are gold flowers and the earrings are screw backs. Both earrings are signed with a single Japanese character on the ear posts. One mark is rather worn, and the other is hard to make out simply because Im not familiar with Japanese characters. They are in excellent unworn condition and are exceptionally clean. They are 2"" long x 5/8"" wide at the bottom."
