"This stunning 1940's Juliana domed brooch is made of hand set Venetian glass cabs in a stunning myriad of shapes and colors. The colors are unusual desert or sunset tones of crackled pale yellow, opalescent yellow, citrine, peridot, topaz and clear. There are various sizes of chatons, baguettes, navettes, pears and ovals. All of the glass stones are rather large and prominent. There are two large multi faceted clear glass pears that really stand out. Also prominent are two opalescent large yellow navettes and three pears in gold crackle glass. The crackle glass creates a stunning glistening effect. The brooch is made of silver rhodium plated metal and all of the stones are prong set. Some of the stones have open backs that allows light to pass through making the whole brooch gleam. The brooch is in excellent condition with no imperfections. All of the stones are original, present and scratch free. It has the original fine working safety clasp. This is a rather large piece at 2"" wide and it domes up 1"" high. A very stunning, unusual 1940's all Venetian glass brooch in marvelous colors and shapes! "
