"Sure - it is easy to find new Kokopelli earrings, but not a vintage pair like these ! This popular Indian design has had a recent resurgence, but the popularity of the design actually goes back to the 1930s. These earring are not that old, but they are vintage and date from the late 1950s to early to mid 1960s. The earrings are for pierced ears and the oval cabs at the top are goldstone glass set in copper bezels. The Kokopellis are copper, but they are not solid copper. They are copper over silver metal. The earrings were hand made and you can see where the jump rings were soldered to the oval backs. This pair has some light copper wear, or old patina, if you examine them closely. They are not signed but were probably made in the desert south west. They measure 1 3/4"" long x 1/2"" wide. The pair comes with new earring back stops."
