"These old Lucite earrings are very unique! The date from the late 1940s Italy and the mixed canes of white and cream that looks like Victorian ribbon glass. Sometime referred to as candy cane, this swirl look was very hard to achieve in Lucite. Jewelry made in this fashion is very rare to find and was not mass produced. I believe the design was experimental and proved to be too time consuming to be cost effective. The oval Lucite cabs are 1"" long x 3/4"" wide and have moderate domes. The brass clips are an old 1940s style, short with pointed tips. The Lucite is in pristine like new condition with no scratches or chips and the clips are strong with tight snap. The earrings are not signed but the type of clips indicates they are a Italian in design."
