Lucite Necklace Marbled Jade Green Vintage 1960's

"At first look and feel, you will think these beads are gemstone or glass. They have a marvelous polished shiny look and are thick and heavy. If you look closely, you will see there are marbled colors of dark jade green and leaf green with yellow gold swirls. This unique Lucite necklace dates from the mid to late 1960's and is in excellent, like new condition. The largest bead is almost 1"" wide, or about the size of a large cherry tomato. The beads are graduated with the majority of them about the size of grapes, and the smallest beads at the top are 1/4"" and 3/8"" wide. All of the beads are spaced by round brass beads that have no greening or loss of gold shine. The Lucite beads do not rub together, so the beads have no wear. The original spring clasp is brass as well. The necklace is 28"" long and is exceptionally clean. The beads are strung on heavy monofilament. This is an exceptional necklace to wear with black or brown attire in the winter and it mixes well with gold and jade jewelry. "
