"These elegant old pearl earrings are signed Marvella, who well known for their cultured pearl jewelry in the 1940s and 50s. These earrings date from the 1950s and are a unique S design. Each earring has two 8 mm cultured pearls that have a light champagne tint. The S figure is silver pot metal with small inset rhinestone chatons. The earrings are clips, and the clips are strong with tight snap. The pearls are perfect, and all of the rhinestones are present, original and sparkling. A few of the rhinestones have a light blue tint from age. The backs and the clips are plated in silver rhodium with no wear. Both hearings are perfectly clean and in excellent condition. This is a petite style, as the earrings are just 7/8"" long x 1/2"" wide. Both earrings are signed Marvella."
