Moroccan Silver Ring Ethnic Dome Vintage 1930s

"This Moroccan silver ring is very old. It dates from the 1930 -1940 era as evidenced by the unique old dome design an the style of craftsmanship. If you look closely at the beaded dome, the cut out areas are supposed to be triangles but as these areas were hand pierced, the shapes vary. The ring is a cigar band style ring that was a popular style during the 1930 -1940 era. The band has scrolls and bead work that is applied metal. The ring is silver metal plated, about 800 content, over heavy brass. If you look at the ring band closely, you can see that it was all hand hammered to shape. The silver on the dome has a flat patina from age. It can easily be polished, but I have left it alone intentionally to show the true patina of the ring. The sides show only tiny hints of minor wear. Overall, the ring is in exceptional condition with no dings or scratches. The heavy gauge ring band is not easy to bend, but the size of the ring could be made larger on a ring sizer. The ring is presently a size 6."
