"A great find from the late 1960's or early 1970's, this uncommon Napier signed necklace is a great piece for summer or winter. The pendants and the chain are all original and in pristine, like new condition. The large domed pendants are made of heavy gold metal and the round protruding beads on the surface are a highly polished gold. The surface of the gold is like that of dried and cracked mud, or what is known in the jewelry trade as a moon texture. The gold pendants are painted with thick, snow like enamels. The large link chain has a beaded gold satin finish and the chain portion is 18"" long. The pendants hang down an additional 3 1/2"" and the lower pendant is 3 1/4"" wide. Some collectors refer to this type of jewelry as moonscape, as it was a short lived theme in jewelry during the Space Age years. This entire piece is in like new condition ~ a truly perfect piece.
