"This fantasy mushroom or toadstool pin is a fabulous large piece made in the 1960s and signed by Napier. The pin is a brooch really, as it is rather large in size. This wild shroom is something you would expect to find where elves and fairies live ! The mushroom has a large pointed dome and a wide gap on the inside where you can see the deep satin gold ribs, or the gills of the mushroom. The cap is pure white thick glossy enamel with polished gold trim. The mushroom is exceptionally well made, and even the bottom of the beaded gold stem has polished gold trim and life like radial rings on the bottom of the stem. The brooch in is pristine condition with no wear and no signs of age. There is no loss of gold, not even on the edges or the back. The white enamel is perfect with no scratches or crazing and retains the original high gloss shine. The brooch measures about 1 3/4"" wide x 1 3/4"" tall. Has the original fine working safety clasp and is signed Napier in block print with copyright."
