"This stunning 1940's earring and necklace set is made of gorgeous pastel molded glass rosette beads. The larger beads are squared and have rose bud molded designs on all sides. The smaller round beads have matching molded bubbled textures. Between every colored bead are white glass round spacer beads. The pastel colors of these beads is striking and unique. There is a wide a variety as well ! There is Jade, mint green, berry, peach, lemon, pale yellow, white, grey and pink. The clip earrings are very well made with brass pins and brass wire that form the tight flower clusters. The necklace has three strands and is tiered and is 20"" long. It appears this set has never been worn, and all of the beads are in excellent, glossy and clean condition. The clip earrings are all original with brass clips and are 1"" wide. This set was most likely made in Germany or West Germany but : The earrings backs are marked Japan and the hook on the necklace is marked Hong Kong, but these metal jewelry fittings were imported by European designers in the late 40's and 50's."
