"I never pass up a vintage pearl belly lady bug pin with sapphire rhinestones as they are not easy to find! This small round bug pin is polished gold metal and the wings are paved with tiny clear rhinestones while the two sapphire chatons are bezel set. The under body is a domed round faux pearl. The lady bug is petite at just 1"" long. It is not signed and based on the type of polished gold metal on the back, I would estimate this pin was from the 1970s or 1980s. The entire pin is in excellent, pristine condition with one minor imperfection that can only bee seen under very high magnification. The sapphire stones have a few microscopic chips on the edges of the facets. I could replace these stones, but I like the little imperfections because it shows that this piece has been loved and admired. The pin is priced with this tiny imperfection in mind."
