"This dazzling 1940's brooch is a large piece at 3"" long x 1 1/4"" wide. The brilliant green stones are assorted chatons sizes in a free form leaf pattern. The shimmering fire polish finish reflects brilliant hues of golden yellow, ice blue, teal blue and various minty shades of green. All of the rhinestones have a high fire polish finish and are excellent quality Austrian crystals. They are all hand set in silver rhodium plate bezel and prong settings. Each stone has about a dozen prongs ! All of the stones are original, present and in excellent scratch free condition. This is one piece that was designer made and built to last, but it is not signed. Most certainly made in Austria. Notice the back of the brooch, how each individual round setting was made individually, and soldered together. The silver rhodium plated back is thick and in excellent condition. The brooch has the original fine working safety clasp. "
