Pewter Owl Necklace Baby Owls Bow and Top Hat 1940s

"This vintage owl necklace is made of brushed cast pewter and dates from the 1940s or 50s. It was most likely made as children's jewelry for a young girl as it features a baby boy owl and a baby girl owl, side by side. One owl has a bow on top of the head and the other has a top hat. What is also unique about this piece is the character of the birds; they are child like with puffy cheeks and short tufted features and wings. The necklace is not signed but I have a strong sense that this piece was most likely made in Great Britain. The pendant is a nice medium size at 2 5/8"" tall x 1 3/8"" wide. The original antique silver metal necklace chain is 24"" long. All pieces are in great condition with no imperfections or wear."
