Pewter Owl Necklace Vintage 1950s w Folded Wings

"I have a large, unique collection of old owl necklaces and this owl is a personal favorite for several reasons. The most outstanding feature of this old bird are the flowing graceful lines of the folded wings and body feathers. The owl is heavy pewter with brushed and beaded finishes and the flowing wings create a unique sense of motion. The owl is one solid piece and is not hinged. It is a very nice size, not too big and not small. See the photo of the owl in my hand. It measures 3"" long x 2"" wide and is in excellent condition with no imperfections. The silver tone chain is original to the necklace and it has a slight darkened patina from age. All pieces are nice and clean. The chain is 24 "" long and has nice weight to it. The owl is not signed, but it was designer made. I suspect it is an unsigned Torino or Alan piece and Im certain it dates from the 1950s."
