Real Sterling Silver Spoon Ring Signed Towel Vintage 1970s

"This is not an imitation new spoon ring. It is real spoon, made into a ring : A True Spoon ring AND - it is solid sterling silver. You can look this pattern up in a silverware pattern book, and under Towel, you will find this was a pattern they made in the 1970s. This is the real thing and not a new imitation ! The ring was made into a size 8 1/2 and it is not perfectly round as the thick metal was shaped to fit a wide finger. It could be made a little smaller or larger, but I don't advise altering the size too much because without heating the silver, you could break it. On the face of the ring, in the smooth area, there are some light scuffs or abrasions. The light wear only verifies the true age of the piece. If you want it perfect, you can take it to a jeweler and they can buff it out for you to make it look perfectly new. To me it looks perfectly fine just the way it is. The face of the ring is about 3/4"" wide and it is a solid heavy piece. The ring is very clean but it still retains the old patina. It is signed Towel Sterling inside. "
