"These attractive bakelite earrings date from the 1925-1935 Art Deco period. They are a very unusual design with great Art Deco flair. The black bakelite swags are topped with silver cornices, which are made of brass and are chrome plated. The earrings have silver metal clip backs that have no wear and have excellent, tight snap. The bakelite has been professionally polished with simichrome polish resulting in a glassy shine. Upon very close inspection, there is some very light wear to the chrome finish and a couple of tiny and minor scratches or dull specks on the bakelite surfaces on each earring. The earrings are in excellent condition for age and are exceptionally clean. They measure 1 1/2"" long x 2"" wide and are not signed."
