"Old blazing ruby red crystal flower pins are not easy to find. From the 1940s, these big faceted marquises form this offset flower design. These marquise crystals are 1/2"" and 5/8"" long. The top tier of the flower has a large faceted oval red crystal, framed with clear glass chatons. This ring of clear glass stones are old molded and faceted glass, not rhinestones. The base of the design is old, heavy, silver pot metal. The pin probably had a gold vermeil finish overall when it was new. Only traces of gold on the leaves are present now, exposing the silver pot metal to a sterling look. All of the ruby red crystals are original and bezel set. All crystals and glass stones are present and in excellent condition. This blazingly bold red flower is 2 1/2"" tall x 2"" wide and has the original fine working safety clasp and is not signed."
