The young cultured pearls, or commercial grade, were cheaply priced back then. These chandelier style earrings are a great design from the 1960s. The 8mm pearls are satin wedding dress white with fine luster that will last a life time if well cared for. They will not flake and are scratch resistant. This unique chandelier style was created by 2 long columns of pearls connected with gold metal book chains. The book chain design makes the pearls hang exactly to the left and right of center. Both earrings are signed Sarah Coventry. The earrings have gold metal narrow lever clips and are light weight and comfortable to wear. Both earrings look like they have never bee unworn, as they are in pristine like new condition. They measure 2"" long."
