"This vintage 1950s three strand pearl bracelet is a very old design made by Sarah Coventry. It is one of the earliest pearl bracelets she ever made, and it has a large dazzling round rhinestone clasp. The pearls are 6mm and are slightly baroque or oval. They are excellent quality old glass pearls with a satin Champagne finish. The pearls are not bright white like new wedding dresses. The are old wedding dress white, which had a very light hint of gold or ivory. The impressive clasp features a large prong set rhinestone chaton at the center, surrounded by smaller prong set chatons. The base metal is silver rhodium. This bracelet is very perfect all around. The pearls are clean and full of luster with no scratches. The clasp shows not signs of wear and all the rhinestones are present and original. The rhinestones have a faint yellow gold tint intentionally to match the pearls. The original insert clasp is in perfect working order as well. The clasp and the 3 rows of pearls are about 3/4"" wide. The bracelet is 7 1/4"" long overall. The only sign of wear I see on this bracelet is some light wear to the silver metal end pieces that attach the pearls tot the clasp. The clasp is signed SAC inside a diamond. This the earliest Sarah Coventry mark that dates to the early 1950s."
