"From the 1950s, this extravagant Austrian crystal necklace features double strands of 8mm faceted crystals that are finished with metallic silver. The crystals are very interesting and half of the bead is silver metallic, and the other half was left clear. The result is a dazzling mix of icy looking crystals. The necklace has a gorgeous crystal adorned insert type box clasp. The large clear marquise cut crystal is flanked by three large chatons in graduated sizes of 6 mm, 8mm, and 10 mm. The crystals on the clasp are prong set in silver rhodium metal. Each faceted crystal bead is spaced with a silver lined glass heishi. The strands are 18"" and 19"" long. The necklace was made in Austria but is not signed. These unusual silver finished beads are very rare to find !"
