The Ajah TM are the seven societies of women among the Aes Sedai TM.  Each Ajah follows a specific philosophy of the use of the One Power TM and the purpose of the Aes Sedai.  The Black Ajah are dedicated to serving the Dark One.  The existence of the Black Ajah is officially and vehemently denied by the Aes Sedai.

The pendant is an officially licensed Wheel of Times replica approved by Robert Jordan himself.  The pendant is an officially licensed Wheel of Times replica approved by Robert Jordan himself.  Skillfully crafted in sterling silver, each Black Ajah pendant is carefully hand enameled and individually inspected for the highest quality by the Badali Jewelry artists.  Each pendant measures approximately 21 mm (7/8") long, 11.8 mm (1/2") wide and 1.3 mm (1/16") thick.  The Flame of Tar Valon pendants weigh approximately 1.6 grams.
